A popular Australian wine made in Margaret River has been recalled over fears it could contain glass inside bottles.

Aussies should not consume bottles of Voyager Estate’s 750ml 2023 tempranillo rose, Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) have said.

The wine is available in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia and from the cellar door in Margaret River.

“Food products containing glass may cause illness or injury if consumed,” FSANZ said.

“Consumers should not consume this product.

“Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
