UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, one of the greatest fighters in competition history, allegedly threatened to kill a drug tester at his home on March 30.

Crystal Martinez, the agent for the UFC’s anti-doping agency Drug Free Sport International, filed a report with Albuquerque Police on Friday.

Martinez alleges that 36-year-old Jones briefly took her phone and threatened to kill her, saying: “Why you f***ing people come so early, do you know what happens to people who come to my house they end up dead.”

She also alleged that Jones threatened to sue her and another agent also present at Jones’ house for the test.

Biting claim ends UFC bout in Las Vegas

Jones made a statement on Instagram denying the claims, posting what appears to be a video of security footage from his house, showing him high-fiving one agent and fist-bumping another as they exit his home.

“I want to address reports about me allegedly threatening a drug tester’s life and taking a phone,” Jones wrote on Instagram.

“I want to clarify that there is a video showing both drug testers leaving my home after the testing session, where we exchanged a high five and a hug. Although I was frustrated with the unprofessionalism and used profanity out of frustration it ended friendly and amicably, nothing threatening at all.”

He added: “I was actually celebrating a friend’s birthday party at my home, and I believe it’s perfectly normal to celebrate in the comfort of my own home.

“I must say, this particular tester behaved quite unprofessionally and even breached standard protocol along with HIPAA laws. Throughout my 20 years of being subjected to drug tests, I have never encountered such an incident with a DCO officer before.”

Jones was set to defend his world title late last year against Stipe Miocic but was forced to pull out due to injury, with no return to the octagon locked in at this stage.
