Four men have been arrested after a horrifying alleged abduction in South Brisbane, with a woman allegedly assaulted.
Emergency services were called to a Cobourg Street address in Forest Lake about 2.15pm on Friday following reports of a serious assault.
A 43-year-old Doolandella woman was found at the property suffering from multiple non-life threatening injuries.
She was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Police will allege a group of men assaulted the woman at a Cassowary Street property in Doolandella before forcing her into a car and driving to Forest Lake.
It is understood the men were wearing black balaclavas to cover their faces.
A Forest Lake resident told the Courier Mail they heard the “bloodcurdling screams” of a woman before multiple gunshots were fired.
“I just heard the bang, bang, bang … three or four gunshots,” the neighbour said.
Neighbour Paul Spence also said he saw a group of four men pull up to the house in a white Audi before strolling up to the front door of the property.
He claims he saw a man with a woman, his hand wrapped around her neck as he lead her into the house.
Two hours later, police arrested four men at a Jarvis Street property in Stafford Heights just after 3.30pm.
They are currently assisting police with inquiries.
Three separate crime scenes have been declared at each of the properties, and a vehicle has been seized for forensic examination.
Witnesses, or anyone with information that could assist with investigations, are urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
