Chris Hemsworth cradled fellow Hollywood star Matt Damon’s head as the actor got a tattoo recently.

The two actors, joined by their respective wives, recently visited a tattooist in Los Angeles so the pair could get inked up.

A tattoo artist shared the photos on her Instagram, revealing that she made the tattoos before the Oscars a couple of weeks ago.

Hemsworth’s tattoo was large, running all the way down his forearm and having the shape of various lines, while Damon got a tattoo on his upper arm.

In one sweet picture, Damon can be seen lying on the bed while Matt cradles his head and holds his hand.

Hemsworth also appears to be making a “shushing” sound with his mouth, encouraging Damon to relax while he gets his tattoo.

“Pregame hangs before the Oscars,” wrote the tattoo artist, whose name is Corina Weikl.

“I love my job. Thank you for being so great,” she continued, tagging Hemsworth and Pataky.

Hemsworth and Damon have ben pals for years, as have their two wives.

In a previous interview, Hemsworth’s wife, Ella Pataky said: “Chris has been a big fan of Matt Damon, me too, and then when I met his wife I’m even more of a fan of his wife.

“They are such amazing people. We have three kids, they have four kids, so we ended up making the same plans because everything we do we do with our kids, so it’s easier to do things with people that understand you.”

Hemsworth, 40, and Spanish actress Pataky, 47, have been married since 2010, having three children in that time.

Meanwhile, it comes after Hemsworth has topped the list as the most influential Australian on Instagram.

The Australian star could reportedly earn more than $1 million per sponsored post.

A new study released in January from Impressive has listed the top five influential Australians on Instagram.

Following Chris Hemsworth were the likes of stars Katherine Langford, Hugh Jackman, Ruby Rose, and Anne Curtis Smith.
